buur Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 For me the map look always very empty so I scripted the airways. Enjoy null DawingMarianas.miz 2 1
Gierasimov Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 @Burr I look for ways to enjoy DCS more, and this triggered my attention. I downloaded and looked at this, it does look interesting, but now I wonder, what would be the use in DCS? Do I need to plug in some civilian traffic assets now or what? 1 Intel Ultra 9 285K :: ROG STRIX Z890-A GAMING WIFI :: Kingston Fury 64GB :: MSI RTX 4080 Gaming X Trio :: VKB Gunfighter MK.III MCG Ultimate :: VPC MongoosT-50 CM3 :: non-VR :: single player :: open beta
buur Posted October 2, 2024 Author Posted October 2, 2024 I can think of several possibilities. For example, a training map where military flight rules apply in certain areas and you have to follow the civilian rules and routes on the way there and back. This makes the outward and return journey more interesting to fly. Or a mission in which the opponents try to sneak in as civilian planes. And you have to identify them as fighters and intercept them. Or use the waypoints as navigation points to better divide up the wide expanse of water. So there are many possibilities.
Gierasimov Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Very cool ideas, it is a shame that DCS does not include the logic to fill your ideas. Civilian traffic following civilian airspace and military traffic working in civilian airspace with controllers and all... eh that would be a simulation... 3 Intel Ultra 9 285K :: ROG STRIX Z890-A GAMING WIFI :: Kingston Fury 64GB :: MSI RTX 4080 Gaming X Trio :: VKB Gunfighter MK.III MCG Ultimate :: VPC MongoosT-50 CM3 :: non-VR :: single player :: open beta
