TWCS joystick & headtracker to view around

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody,

Ive diven into learning how to fly, and i got me 2 army manuals (https://www.bits.de/NRANEU/others/amd-us-archive/FM1-50(1980).pdf, and https://www.bits.de/NRANEU/others/amd-us-archive/FM1-5(80).pdf), 2 books on tactics (http://falcon.blu3wolf.com/Docs/Fighter Combat-Tactics and Maneuvering.pdf, and https://archive.org/details/fightertacticsst0000sims). I also got the game Windows Flight Simulator to learn how to fly (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1250410/Microsoft_Flight_Simulator_40th_Anniversary_Edition/).

While i now know how to fly with instruments, and you know where im coming from, i want to have the same features as Windows Flight Simulator. The issue is that i have a TWCS Throttle and there is a joystick at the front of it. Now you can look around with that in Windows Flight Simulator, and use the headtracker (im using http://www.facetracknoir.nl/home/default.htm, and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_VN4mMA6Cw) at the same time.

I have not found that this works in DCS World, and i think it really limits my ability to be a good pilot. I really have to have this feature or i will be seriously impared in my ability to get to all the knobs, way more than a Cessna 152 with the most simple cockpit. Not to mention all the knobs to the right and the left of the legs of the pilot.

So my question is: CAN YOU MAKE IT SO THAT I CAN USE THE TWCS JOYSTICK AND THE HEADTRACKER AT THE SAME TIME TO VIEW/LOOK AROUND?

Thank you very much!

Greetings,

Aravat
