CE_Mikemonster Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Can I turn my PC off at the wall at night (to stop my FFB adapter/transformer being hot all the time)? My mobo's a p5K-Pro (doubt it'll matter what type anyway), just wondered if it'd lose any settings or wear out the CMOS battery in a short space of time. Like I said it is a bit of a silly question, just thought i'd check. Dr.Google dodn't help a huge amount :(. Cheers, Mike Too many cowboys. Not enough indians. GO APE SH*T
Shrubbo Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I turn mine off every night at the wall, always have, always will. No it won't wear out the battery, it will save you burning standby power for nothing tho. i9-9900K,Z390 Aorus Master, 32GB GSkill Trident F4-3600 DDR4, ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti, Oculus Rift S.
