dukman83 Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Dear ED team, At the risk of bringing up an unpopular/well-flogged topic to light, I am hoping to re-life (probably every pilot's wish) of re-living that awesome last mission they flew. I realise that the track file system is horribly broken and left for dead because it would require a significant code re-write to make it functional. BUT if it were recreated as an add-on, purchasable module, I would be willing to bet that most pilots, would be happy to pay for it. Another really good complementary feature would be the ability to replay previous missions with a greater level of control for the purpose of creating that amazing cinematic. Having something similar to what Tacview offers that incorporates an improved fast-forward, rewind, track, event-based navigation etc. would be a brilliant addition and revamp of the replay model. I think that this would have incredible potential not only for content creators, but also for post-game analysts, and would better advertise the awesomeness of DCS. Many thanks for reading and considering! 2 My Rig: CPU: Intel i9-9900KS, GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 TI FTW3 Ultra 11GB, RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4, MB: MSI MEG Z390 Godlike, Game drive: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD, PSU: Seasonic Prime Ultra Titanium 1000W, Windows 10 version: Pro - build 1909, WMR (Windows 10 version), WMR for SteamVR Beta, SteamVR Beta, VR: HP Reverb Pro

I would also like this but the replay is not really broken it was in house for ED for testing purposes so guessing for vey short tracks but decided to give us the option also.
2circle Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Has anyone figured out a work-around? It's super frustrating - I was really looking forward to getting into some cinematics but this makes it impossible apparently. I looked for some guidance on YouTube and found this video: I'm not super tech savvy but feel like I followed the steps laid out in this video as well as the Grim Reapers video it referenced but no luck...set up a dedicated server using the DCS dedicated server program and the server GUI, then started DCS World as normal, and joined the server I just created, and selected a simple mission I made. Flew the mission, exited the server, stopped the server in the GUI, then went into my saved tracks folder to replay the mission I just flew (in a SU-33). Still corrupted unfortunately. Any one have any luck with this? 2 F-18C/F-14/P-51/F-86 Pico4/Quest2 VR with Intel Core i9 3.0GHZ 24 -Core, 16GB, GeForce RTX 4070 ti
