Setting shadows correctly within DCS options

Hello,

to configure the shadows correctly I have to modify the Shadows.lua file. This also breaks the integrity in the MP.
Being something so simple and that substantially improves the graphical quality of the game (as can be seen in the attached image), Why is it not integrated into the options within DCS? is it not possible that it is integrated into the DCS options? The default settings gets horrible shadows outside of DCS minimum standards.

Best way i think is sharing your solution. When ED knows what to change, i guess chances get way better to have it implemented.

(And apart from that, i would be interested in learning about this myself )
