Maj.Ballz Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I recently got my Cougar HOTAS setup in the options screen. Thanks for the posts. Now Im trying to get my TRACK IR, and Im sorry, but I didnt find what I was looking for in the searches. So here is my question... I loaded Track IR on my puter with software etc.... (Vector Pro). So how do I make it active in the sim? I dont have any selectable lines under the Track IR column in the Options section to assign key commands. thanks
Redeye26 Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 In my experience , i didnt have to do anything it just worked by default . If your track ir sensor is showing a green light then you should be good to go . You might want to play about with the track ir settings and get a feel for it , play about with profiles , and adjust the sensitivity etc . And its always best to plug it direct to your comp and not a usb hub cos that can cause a few problems for some ppl . Good luck and enjoy your new toy :)
Maj.Ballz Posted February 7, 2009 Author Posted February 7, 2009 Yeah its plugged in directly to the puter. No background intereference, the Heads and Tracking appear to be working in the Track IR windows. But it's just not triggering any response in the sim.

Maj.Ballz Posted February 7, 2009 Author Posted February 7, 2009 Absolutely unreal ! The 3d of this sim is astounding to say the least. Plus gives the HMS a realistic aspect of look and lock. If you're on the fence about a Track IR, you have to get one. Well worth the money. My setup was very jerky, but once I selected Track Clip Pro from the default vector, it all came together.
