export.lua to Com port?

Can some kind person please fill me in on how to get the export.lua script to write to a Com port. I'm just not seeing it.

You would need to include LuaX or something similar to communicate over the COM ports.

OK, thanks. I'm kind of mysified though. The point of this is to enable physical cockpits, right? So how do you get the data to the physical cockpit?
