Highwayman8948 Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 When in VR, it looks as though the headset is filled with water or has oil flowing over the lenses and my frame rate is 20-23 FPS. Running ST I get no visual issues with 40+ FPS. My MB BIOS and GFX drivers are up to date. System specs are below. null
edmuss Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 If you're using openxr toolkit and reprojection, ensure that movement prediction (I think it's called these days) on the input tab is disabled. In conjunction with reprojection it causes the watery effect you describe. Performance wise it could just be that openxr is running reprojection down to 1/4 refresh rate (22.5fps assuming 90Hz). You don't mention what headset you have but the 3060 is on the weak side for DCS vr unfortunately. RackMonkey Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 I had the same problem and "movement prediction" was the problem. Thanks for pin pointing that. I have another problem that may or may not be linked. When I start DCS in MT-Native OpenXR I get a "mask" in my headset. It's square and covers the bottom and right side of the display. The bottom covers most of the instrument panel when looking straight forward and bout the same amount of the right side of the cockpit. If this mask turns out to be symmetrical then it's center point is about 20 degrees left and 20 degrees up. If you haven't seen this before I'll post a new thread with it and see how many others are seeing it also.
