Tehrawk Posted February 13, 2009 Author Posted February 13, 2009 Awesome thanks to both of you for your time and effort.
SDeath Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Will I guess I upgraded from a very old version. I didn't see the MFD crash anymore with the Saitek Rulezz!! Message. Also I did a clean install of Vista x64 before installing the older drivers then I noticed there were newer so I installed them. What Driver version are you seeing. Mine still says 6.0.5.12 While software version is 6.6.0.38 What would be the best procedure to remove the old drivers and install the new. Kalkyl Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 I have Driver: 6.2.2.4 SST: 6.6.0.38 I belive those are the latest (Vista32), best way to remove old drivers i belive is thru controlpanel. SST installs over old ones so no need to remove.

Whatever I try it doesn't update the driver portion. Isn't it a total package, the 6.6.2.0 package then? SDeath Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Ok I found the latest drivers browsing through the ftp server from Saitek. I now have the same version as you have. Thanks for the info. I'll test now to see if the message returns on the MFD, I'm afraid it will. SDeath Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 (edited) It did return, but with the help of this forum, and deleting a .dll file in the \bin\stable\ directory, eveything worked as it should again. Coolhnd1 Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 It's good to hear they finally put in 3D models of the hardware you're using. Especially when it looks like they've got it set up for a lot of models. I've used the new version of the software before they had the 3D models a few years ago to setup F4AF and I really missed the 3D models like they had when I had the X45. Particularly when I print out my setup as a reference. I'll have to download this latest version and check it out. -- CoolHand
