1BRAVO9 Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 (edited) I just got a new PC with a 4090 and I was thinking about gaming with 3 monitors if possible. I have one 32 inch 4k monitor and was thinking about getting two more. Will the 4090 handle 3 4k monitors? I tried an ultrawide but there was a noticeable decrease in picture quality from the full 4k even though the UW I tried was 1600 pixel width instead of the 1440. If the 4090 will handle the 3 monitors what kind of FPS should I expect? Instead of using two 4k monitors, one on each side, what about two 2k monitors? Would that be easier on my GPU? Can you run different resolutions on several monitors if you extend them for gaming? What about using to slightly smaller 4k monitors for each side, say 28 inches, is that an option? Running 2k vs 4k would be less of a strain, but i prefer running at the native monitor / TV res Just ordered parts for a 7800X3D / 4090 build to replace it.
