deadsmell Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Hey guys, ive noticed that nobody includes the Teamspeak server info in the mission description for online play. It seems quite a few people put things like "visit our website to see our teamspeak server info...." Why not just put it in the mission description? Dont let the smell get to ya...............
AlphaInfinity Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 We are all trying to to get folks involved on our sites. It also tends to keep the bad apples off the teamspeak servers. They are generally too lazy to go and register on a site and they know that we can track their IP all day long if they do. I also tend to do some capacity planning for teamspeak slots based on the number of registered users and how involved those users are on the site. The more involved they are on the forums, the more likely they will be on the TS server every night. I know it seems like a pain to have to register, but it is really fast and once you have the IP information, you can save it in Teamspeak and you never have to worry about it again. Crow_Bar Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I wouldn't disagree with anything you said, but add, in my own small world I fly the 25/T and it usually ends up I fly solo, so no point in jumping into the teamspeak, there may be a opinion that " you wont know till you have tried to go on teamspeak" as to that question........... I have, and found all I did was listen to hiss, might be that those guys who fly the fighters dont want to comunicate with the bombers ect ect all sorts of reasons, what I am trying to say is not all of us are lazy its just some( not all) have found that it doesn't pay to use TS. BUT:in saying that, if anyone wanted to fly with me the first thing Id say is "Lets Jump into the servers TS":) We are all trying to to get folks involved on our sites. deadsmell Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 That's cool, I was just wondering. typing gets really frustrating, especially when you forget to press the tilda key, and you type a whole big line of text, then you realize you just clicked about a hundred switches, and you have no idea what they were. :) Ok i just registered at Ka-50.com. Registered as Nightshift (thats my callsign.). Site looks cool. Im looking forward to flying with you guys. Thanks! Dont let the smell get to ya...............
