fastfed
Friend and I have identical systems. 7800x3d, same memory and mobo, 7900xtx gpu both using quest 2 (will get the crystal maybe soon) but for now im trying out different setting VIA dcs and openxr. No matter what my quality doesn't change and neither does my FPS. lol Change my render scare via openxr to 100-175% and no changes change my render scale via DCS and no changes. the XR toolkit I use FSR or CAS as my upscaling. null Here is my settings. nullnull
mbucchia
"OpenXR Tools for Windows Mixed Reality" won't do anything for an Oculus Quest. You need to uninstall that application and instead change the settings in the Oculus PC app, or use something like Oculus Tray Tools. This account is now inactive and not monitored. fastfed
why lower my settings? Im trying to get BETTER visuals lol. Im getting great fps as it is, I just want to increase my pixel density. Im going to try doing that through the oculus tooltray as it doesnt seem to do anything in DCS. I can set it to 2.5 and see no difference

I would advise leaving this to 1.0 (and pixel density in DCS) and adjust the image size and upscaling with openxr toolkit. It gives you a lot more control. Just leave OTT to easily toggle ASW on/off. Just to clarify you need to be using openxr toolkit (not openxr tools for windows mixed reality). https://mbucchia.github.io/OpenXR-Toolkit/ Edited June 12, 2023 by Qcumber 5800x3d: rtx4070: 64Gb 3200: 1Tb NVME: Pico 4: Rift S: Quest Pro
