Amuro Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Will the X52 throttle unit work without the joystick unit attached? I'm thinking about using that throttle with a MSFF2. CyBerkut Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Yes. Others are doing exactly what you are talking about. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] There's no place like 127.0.0.1
Amuro Posted February 23, 2009 Author Posted February 23, 2009 What force settings do you use? I found that the default 100 for trimmer is too strong, and makes the stick kick when trimming, so I lowered it to 30. Shake doesn't seem to do anything so I just leave it at default. crazysundog Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I have the trimmer at 100, but I mated my X52 stick to the MSFFB2, and its a little heavier, dont know what difference a lower setting would make? I think the trimmer function is going to be worked on and changed in the first patch so, will be interesting to see if there is a difference.
Amuro Posted February 23, 2009 Author Posted February 23, 2009 Setting the trimmer below 100 lowers the return to center tension. crazysundog Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Heh, just tried the trim force at 50, and felt it was a little weak, got it at 70 now; I like it much better than 100!! Now there isn't that big kick when i make a large trim...
