Will the X52 throttle unit work without the joystick unit attached? I'm thinking about using that throttle with a MSFF2.

What force settings do you use? I found that the default 100 for trimmer is too strong, and makes the stick kick when trimming, so I lowered it to 30. Shake doesn't seem to do anything so I just leave it at default.

I have the trimmer at 100, but I mated my X52 stick to the MSFFB2, and its a little heavier, dont know what difference a lower setting would make?

I think the trimmer function is going to be worked on and changed in the first patch so, will be interesting to see if there is a difference.

Setting the trimmer below 100 lowers the return to center tension.

Heh, just tried the trim force at 50, and felt it was a little weak, got it at 70 now; I like it much better than 100!! Now there isn't that big kick when i make a large trim...
