Nialfb Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 (edited) Hi Guys I have an issue with OpenXR Tool for Windows Mixed Reality that is driving me up the wall. When I launch the tools I get the message "Something went wrong - Error communicating with the Mixed Reality OpenXR Service" The result is that I am unable to access the settings. If I click on the Mixed Reality option I can run "Launch OpenXR demo scene" and throw big rocks around, so it is working. However, I want to be able to access the Settings as I want to make some significant changes. So far I have uninstalled OpenXR Tools for WMR, reinstalled, uninstalled and manually cleared out any sign of it in the registry, reinstalled - okay, so you get the picture! I checked the registry and under the Software/Khonos entry I am running 'C:\windows\system32\MixedRealityRuntime.json' If anyone has a fix for this I would be glad to hear from you. BTW - if anyone knows how to contact Windows OpenXR for WMR support that would be equally good! Does Windows support exist anymore? Kind regards Nial Edited June 21, 2023 by Nialfb typo Game setup - I9-13900K, 3000 MHz 24 Core 32 Logical Processors, NVIDIA RTX 4090, 42” ASUS 4K OLED monitor, TM HOTAS Warthog, TM TPR Rudder pedals, Bigscreen Beyond VR.
