DSplayer Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Bug: F-15E radar detecting non-existent jamming on SP mission (even with aircraft without ECM equipped). Can I reproduce it 100%: 100% How to reproduce/description: Step 1: Fly against any aircraft in the F-15E (this includes WW2-era propeller aircraft) Step 2: Enter Active Pause Step 3: Enter a Single Target Track while in Active Pause against the aircraft. Result: The radar will enter HOJ against that target. Exiting STT will momentarily show the target as jamming with a HOJ strobe but will then revert to a normal track. However, a TWS/HDT cannot be maintained. This bug will be reported in a different topic. fisadev Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 I found this bug today too. I was trying to record a tutorial video for the radar, but all targets were jamming me, even an I-16. It made no sense, until I realized it was the active pause that was causing the jamming.
DSplayer Posted October 20, 2023 Author Posted October 20, 2023 This still happens in OB 2.9.0.46801 btw. Also noticed that the track that I uploaded was either incorrect or got corrupted. Galinette Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 It's not detecting jamming per se, but it detects that a contact with a high closure rate keeps a constant range, which he interprets as RGPO/VGPO. Interesting effect, though it will be very complex to make it work in active pause. 4
