Eisprinzessin Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 So is the title said, i used now my monitor and the Winwing UFC+MFD stuff to fly the Hornet. Now switching back in a chopper i thougt, it should be easy to use my VR profile again. But...no. I have in my VR Headset bottom left and right two super bright retangles. I think it is from the MFD display export. But i am not able to get rid of it. I tried to make a photo, but thats hard. Anyway i put it as an attachement. You can see the beigish background of DCS Menue and the 2 retangles in the lower corners. I dont know what to do and i dont wanna miss my VR experience in the Helos... Any ideas? Wostg Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 Have you gone into Set MFD display in simapppro and cleared all the monitor profiles (select the 4th 'blank' option for each screen) I can think of nothing heavier than an airplane I can think of no greater conglomerate of steel and metal I can think of nothing less likely to fly
prestonflying Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 In DCS -> Settings -> Monitor drop down menu -> Set it to 1 screen (I think that is what it is called). You can also try deleting your Saved Games/DCS.openbeta/Config/options.lua (Make a backup first, but a fresh one is created each time you boot up DCS if there is not one). Removing the options.lua will only remove graphical stuff, key binds and all other settings will stay.
Eisprinzessin Posted June 29, 2023 Author Posted June 29, 2023 In SimmAppPro i removed the monitors to blank and applied, in DCS i changed to 1 Monitor, i disconnected the monitors and removed the options lua already. Nothing helped. i still have this weird white retangles. I dont really know that to du more. Can it be an isue with Reshade? i made this "brighten up MFD" changes for the hornet, but enabling, disabling the Shade, does not change anything in VR... prestonflying Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 (edited) Dang this is odd! Try cleaning then repairing DCS, also update DCS if you havent already. You could try launching ST VR vs MT VR? There is a VR forum that might be able to help more in depth Edited June 29, 2023 by prestonflying
Eisprinzessin Posted June 29, 2023 Author Posted June 29, 2023 Cleaned and repaired already. State always the same. ST VR? Whats that? I dont use MT. Specs: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900K 3.20 GHz, RAM 128 GB, Win11 Home, RTX3080Ti
