This is new... I have not had this problem until a few weeks ago.   I'm running the OB 2.8 from June 22.

When I am using the mouse to change the angle of the external view, sometimes the view jumps to a totally different angle.  After some testing it seems to happen when my mouse cursor moves between the edge of my two monitors.

  • This was when I was running the OB with or without MT.
  • I do not use the 'Constrain Mouse to game screen' option.
  • I have a 5120x1440 game monitor over a 1920x1080 touchscreen monitor.

In this video I am moving the mouse kind of fast to try and get it to do the jump.  I used ShareX to capture and it put in some black flashes that have nothing to do with this issue.

Watch this video to see it happening..

I found the problem...

I use a program called DisplayFusion to add some extra features to the windows desktop.  It has an option that moves the mouse cursor to the next monitor even when your mouse is not aligned near the transition between the two monitors.  I had that on.  I caused the External view to 'snap' to the next monitor when it was to the left or right of the other monitor.  So the view jumped horizontally to the monitor, but the vertical was still basically smooth.  Don't know if you follow that, but that's it..
