Like in P-51 kneeboard on 3D pilot's model knee. We already got nice movable light, to light the kneeboard.

I get the idea from an immersion point of view, but i'm not convinced it'd be universally popular given there are text elements in it that are/will be useful (e.g. initial coordinates when the INS is more fleshed out) but would be a pain to read off without something like a snap zoom function.

In that case, in P-51 mustang, You always got Shift+K standard kneeboard, which i never opened, because everything on knee is visible very well.

Fair enough, didn't realise both options were available.
