I currently use a Saitek cyborg force. I should be getting a logitek Pro force this week... yeh!!!. My force FFB works, but there is not much to it. I can feel force when ever I trim. And there is plenty of center spring even with windows setting set to 0. but even with the max turbulance and awful weather I have never felt stick shake, or spring effect. The only dampining I have felt is trim. I realize that the Hokum is a fly by wire aircraft. but there should still be vibration from turbulane, and reverb from contact with the ground. In short is there any way to increase the FFB effects.

This is a common and much discussed problem. Here is some help.

As for the issue of feedback relating to general flight conditions, I heartily agree, but there doesn't seem to be anything we can do right now. More technically minded people may come up with a solution in time. In the meantime, I've disabled FF for my Saitek Cyborg Evo Force as I find the current FF trim method too awkward.

A small pie is soon eaten
