Using an encoder wheel mapped to Inst/Panel, Console and Flood lights?

Hi, is this currently working as intended for other users?

I have this mapped, but the cockpit dials only move one increment and that's all, regardless of the encoder's step settings. However, the encoder works as expected on the MPCD and UFC brightness etc, with the dials moving their full range of travel

You are speaking of DCS bios right? 
or is it an ingame keybind?

Hi,

it's two joystick buttons, one pulsing up up up and the other down down down etc. (in game mapping) triggered by the encoder turning forward or backward, not dcs bios. I've gone this way for compatibility reasons with other software.
