Yo,

I've been tinkering a bit with the mission editor, and one of the things I want to be able to do is to have some markings to show front lines and so on show up on the player's ABRIS. I remember a mission in the deployment campaign having that, but I haven't been able to replicate that.

Am I completely blind and/or stupid?

you have to 'prepare' the mission by using the flight/prepare mission menu while in the editor. Mission will start, you make your map edits by using the ABRIS, you exit and save mission. Once you get the hang of it it is not that hard. Be sure to follow the steps in the manual. You only have to do one helo and it will show up in the other helos as well once flightplan is saved, other helos can load the info by loading the flightplan.
