Amraam AIM-120 cue indications on cold target far off

The Amraam indications on the HUD are very optimistic when following a target.

I fired a missile at a non manouvering target that is keeping the same speed/Altitude/HDG at all cue indications such as "Raero", "Ropt", and so on and.

Only the "Rmnvr" cue hit. The range of the missile was no where near the range of the cue.

Anyone acknowledged receiving this? An Aim-120 should not be shot at 25 NM when following a target...
