lesthegrngo Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 I have been looking for this for a while, more out of curiosity that anything else, as I can assign it to a Bodnar controlled switch but where exactly in the cockpit is the 'release wheel brakes' switch? Sometimes when I go to quick start - takeoff, the wheel brakes are on, and I have to tap the W key to release it, That means, in theory at least, that there should be a button or switch in the cockpit that performs the same function I want as much as possible to not have to use the keyboard, if nothing else due to the inconvenience, so I will probably invent a switch (maybe by the Emergency Hand Brake lever) just to have it assigned, but would like to know if there is a real one somewhere Cheers Les
Vinc_Vega Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Tha A-10 hasn't a separate parking brake. To release the brakes in the simulator (W key) you may push both pedals. To park the aircraft without chocks mostly the emergency brake is used. Regards, Vinc Regards, Vinc real life: Royal Bavarian Airforce online: VJS-GermanKnights.de [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

lesthegrngo Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 I'll double check - I upgraded to the MFG Crosswinds and made pendulum pedals for them, maybe my setup isn't right Les
No1sonuk Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Did you recalibrate with the new pedals?
lesthegrngo Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 only the rudder axis, not the brakes Les
lesthegrngo Posted September 11, 2023 Author Posted September 11, 2023 Confirmed, calibration issues Thanks Les 1
