multiple arduinos conflicting

Hi.

I made button boxes using arduinos and i found i can only use two at the same time if they are different models. I can use the micro and leonardo toghether but not two micros or two leonardos.

I'm not using dcs-bios, the boards appear as joysticks in the game

Apparently you have to rename one of them in the 'boards.txt' file as well as chanigng two other numbers. But this is not without risk of bricking the microcontroller. And to make matters worse, arduino updated the IDE so that changing the name as I mentioned above is not nearly as simple as it used to be. I don't know if you have had success with this?

Hi not sure if this helps but i found this video tutorial method of programming useful and may solve the issue with duplicate controllers - i have not had the time to test myself but will do after xmas
