Avio Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 Fuel dumping only comes out from right wing tip, should it not dump from both wing tips since there is also a dump ducting on the left wing?
KlarSnow Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 The right wing tip is the fuel dump, the left wingtip is the overflow vent. Dump switch only puts fuel out the right wingtip. The left wingtip only vents fuel when an overpressure or overfueled condition exists. Not controllable by the aircrew, completely automatic. Unlikely to see it happen in DCS. 2 1

Dumps from one side. If the surge boxes fill up on either side, it will start venting fuel from either mast. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Chris
Avio Posted September 25, 2023 Author Posted September 25, 2023 Thanks folks. Didn't quite see that in the manuals, or I might have missed out.
