I know ED will need tacview and track for bug report, but I am not sure if ED is not aware of it. I know the BFM and Flight model is still in progress for about 2 years now, I know the development would be complex hence there will not be any estimation to announce publicly. but AI is not really useful as of now which is a huge deal, All campaigns, specially BFM/ACM campaigns as well as PVE are tighly couplded with AI behavior. I believe a simple test can show multiple issues such as :

BFM:

  1. the AI flight model is not following the restrictions as player does, ex: I conduct couple of BFM set, player in F-16 and AI in clean MiG-21, AI can hold 400 to 460 and pull up to 10G constantly(means by passing the aircraft limit, and by passing player limites, player cant hold 8G constant which is fine, it should be in that way)! AI can climb without cost of loosing air speed, seems AI doesnt obligated to aerodynamic rules. 
  2. AI try to push 2 circles fight even if it would not be beneficial for situation, AI keep fighting in two circles even if there is an opportunity to force 1 circle and shoot the player!
  3. AI is keep running away and jink until get out of fuel and eject which is a cause of pushing 2 circle fights
  4. in some situation AI crash into the water or ground   

ACM:

  1. AI do not leverage the wingman and act as an independent single ship.

BVR:

  1. AI try to notch the missle and act strange by constant roll! 

with all these being said, I literally cant enjoy my campaigns in DCS as before(it was not good but now its even worth now)! I cant play my campaigns anymore and get disappointed by the state of AI.
