Datalink issues

Hello everyone,

 

Have some minor issues in ME regarding datalink addition to F-16/-18C.

When trying to add a unit there is an option to add static unit - which is incorrect or perhaps that's for static ground units such as EWRs etc.

Pic is below.

 

Also, there is an issue with F/A-18C group datalink options. I successfully added a 2-ship group of F-16CM as "donors' for the first 2 planes, but then for 3rd and 4th aircraft that F-16CM group disappeared from list. Pic is below.

 

Also, noted that "copy settings" didn't work for me in terms of copying Datalink settings. (same group could be added for all 4 planes as donor group)

Additional issue. When you change callsign - it doesn't change it symbology in Datalink options.

 

Example: It was Ford11 for FD11, then I changed it to Vader - still the same FD11.

We really need to have option to copy Datalink settings to all units on the side. I have a lot of groups/units that need to have Datalink adjusted and it's a disaster to do that manually.

Or ar least to be able to have the list sorted by name when choosing additional people in the datalink list. And yes, dont have the Static in that list at all.

agreed with all of the above. datalink settings is not streamlined yet for mission makers.

WITHIN THE GROUP
When i to set up DL on one AH64, it did not copy the settings made on unit 1 to unit 2, 3 and 4.

TO ANOTHER GROUP
And when i copy the AH64 (so group Apache-1 copied, becomes Apache-2)
The DL settings where also default.

What i.e. not beiing copied was:
* changed NET name(PRE 1)
* C/S
* PRE set radio's
