Is there anyway to tell if a server is set to kick players with extremely high ping?

The server(s) I've joined so far read that I have less than 100ms ping but, other players are showing upwards of 1,000 to 2,000ms.  Even though my connection is very good, when the server tries to average everything out, it ends up being a penalty.   It's just not fun thinking you've dodged their guns only to be hit a whole 2 seconds later when they no longer have anywhere close to the angle for a firing solution.  You just can't dodge what you're unaware has already hit you.

I want to be a part of warbirds multiplayer servers but, if this is just how it is, I guess I'll have to sit out.

Unfortunately this issues is not just one of ping. It would also be very useful for server administrators to also have a "client packet drop" monitoring capability and ability to kick clients who excessively drop packets.
