SabreDancer Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 (edited) Best wishes to all. I have heard that, on occasion, the folks at RAZBAM will adopt community liveries which are sufficiently realistic and high-quality at their discretion. After reading Be Afraid Of The Dark, I couldn't help but be enamored with the F-15E DRF prototype and its European 1 livery. My friend was as well, and they made the F-15DRF No. 71-0291 livery in the DCS User Files. I am sure this historical livery would be well-received by the community, and give it a little '80s flair. Would RAZBAM be interested in adding this to the game? Real life livery: Version available on user files: Edited October 23, 2023 by SabreDancer

SabreDancer Posted November 1, 2023 Author Posted November 1, 2023 I suppose I was mistaken, it seems to be exclusively a Heatblur thing. Suppose we'll see, and I'll pass on the praise to my friend!
Galinette Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 Issue with base liveries, is they add up to the base game size, not only to the people owning the module. The tomcat folder is 16GB alone for a base DCS install, mostly due to liveries. They also will eat VRAM whenever used on a multiplayer server. That's my 2 cents only, but there are already way too much big heavy liveries in the base DCS. And since they can be freely added in Saved Games, anyone can choose to have more disk space and VRAM use, and that's better.
