StinkyBurner Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 With my PS4 controller, the rate at which the throttle increases/decreases is very slow. An example would be how from idle position, holding the 'Throttle Up Both Smoothly' keybind, it takes about 9 seconds to get to full afterburner, and same when decreasing throttle (for comparison, every other plane takes around 2 to 3 seconds. This becomes increasingly annoying when I'm trying to land and need to make throttle corrections, but get the very slow response. I have checked drivers, keybinds, DS4 windows tool, and don't have this problem with any other plane in the game. Another person I play with has the same issue with their Xbox controller as well. Any help or work around would be appreciated, thank you.
1Arc Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Hi there, also using non axis input for throttle movement in 15E. I do agree it's super excessive, and honestly took a lot enjoyment over flying other aircrafts currently (others being approximately 2-2.5 secs for time range of throttle movement). I've hit RB Maple to look forward for this issue a while back, still haven't got anything yet sadly. The only setting I could meddle with to tune this is just by playing around with the AB detent cutoff setting, lower means more seamless movement in mil power at cost of AB throttle movement taking forever. It does come with AB desync when flying in multicrew with someone else at different AB cutoff setting though. I've yet to find any way to mess with the rate within the script though, and really wish this could be one of the top QoL priority (either smoothen it or just make a rate slider in the special option). Some reference chart if you want to tweak the AB detent yourself. 1
