These scripts have no effect on the sim. They change no data only read and send to the thrustmaster script. Your problem lies elsewhere.

I hear you, but when script is not running, my problem disappears. I will test again tonight.

Is there any way to know what kind of system resources this uses? I am wondering if this is maybe driving my overclocked 8700k harder and is revealing instability in my system.

If you are using the scripts from this thread, stop. That's not to say that the scripts in this thread have any performance issues; it's just that I no longer support them. The scripts have moved on significantly.
