Hello SATAC viewers and participants!
Excitement is building up as we approach the start of SATAC 2023. Groups and schedule can be found in the ⁠schedule channel on SATAC discord https://discord.gg/gSP7rhRpHp. Please keep in mind that the schedule or groups may still undergo minor changes depending on circumstances.

We'd like to emphasize that, as in previous SATACs, the schedule is locked. Rescheduling is generally not possible due to streaming and moderating constraints. SATAC is streaming and moderating all matches, and rescheduling needs to align with the availability of both the rescheduling squads and the streamers/moderators. Additionally, with 32 squads participating in SATAC 2023, rescheduling becomes a challenging factor. In the worst-case scenario, rescheduling can take place, but the match must be flown within a week to meet the challenges associated with finishing the event with in acceptable time-frame.

A warm welcome to all 32 squads that have signed up, and best wishes in the Squad Air to Air Championship 2023!

Finally, SATAC 2023 is kicking off!
Grab your calendars and mark the dates as we bring you thrilling news and matches, featuring DCS's finest squads showcasing their airmanship and teamwork skills honed throughout 2023. The first two matches on 27th-Jan-1500z include Eclipse Task-Force (International) vs Air Combat Role Play (Thailand), streamed by Airshow, and 45th JFG Horsemen (EU/US) vs CK-81st (China), streamed (WIP). At 1800z, Phoenix Task Force (EU/Pakistan) faces 4° Stormo Caccia Virtuale (Italy) The excitement continues on Sunday, 28th-Jan-1300z, with 343ku (Japan) vs 9G (Russia), streamed by Airshow. At 1800z, we wrap up the weekend with ALAMO (International) vs BK (Russia/Belarus).

SATAC 2023 - Stats
For SATAC 2023 participants and viewers who love crunching numbers, we're introducing new SATAC stats in collaboration with DCS Dynamic Modern PvP @AlphaGator and @Special K, leveraging the stat tracking capabilities of the DCSServerBot. Join The DCS Dynamic Modern PvP discord to access SATAC stats and gain insights into squad/pilot performance. To get the full picture, you'll need to add the "SATAC Pilot" role on the welcome page or in #roles if you're already a member. Make sure to link your Discord and DCS account in this server for the stat tracking to work (instructions in https://discord.gg/r2JArQV5). Utilize bot commands like /highscore and others to get statistics on the SATAC events.

SATAC 2023 - Week 5
Following an exhilarating SATAC kick-off last weekend, featuring both seasoned and emerging squads, the showcase illuminated the depth of tactics and skills in air-to-air squad-vs-squad engagements. In the course of the week, adjustments were made to SATAC groups as IIAF(Iran) and TFT(International) had to withdraw. Now, with two new slots available, we proudly welcome @Snake, stepping in for TFT. There's a lone slot awaiting a squad to fill the vacancy left by IIAF, providing a golden opportunity for a new entrant to join the excitement of SATAC.

Strap on your G-suits or grab your popcorn as we gear up for the weekend's SATAC matches, promising the unparalleled excitement everyone has been eagerly anticipating. The SATAC excitement continues this weekend with thrilling matchups! On Saturday, 3rd-Feb-1500z, witness the intense battle between 51st PVO Regiment(CCCP) and GunGunGun(Taiwan), streamed by Airshow. At 1700z, the action heats up with Team Wadafak(Internatioanl) taking on =DDCS=(International), streamed by Plazma1945. On Sunday, 4th-Feb-1500z, the champions of SATAC 2022, inSky(China), face off against the new coming Snake(International), streamed by Airshow.
