thedubmancometh Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Hi, Firstly thanks to DCS for bringing Blackshark, fantastic simulator I see Im gonna be still playing it for years to come. ..Other simulators.. Ive played so many different sims, from battle of britain on Speccy, Hornet on amiga to Orbiter,IL2,etc on PC. I recently came across a Mars sim, which allows the player (single or multi (which is better)) to 'be on mars' and survive, collecting water, generating O2,fuel for launch vechile, survey, sampling and exploration. It plays like a FPS (allthough not a single weapon or alien in sight!) and it quite a complex, with power failures, O2 leaks, rad storms etc etc. Its still in Beta and the indy company are continusly adding content ( drivable rovers, farm units, wind turbines etc soon).. Its such a different and atmospheric type of sim, that Ive been totally hooked- its defo worth a look if your into a game where you have to think a bit to survive - try looking at http://www.hyperkat.com/ for more info. Regards! 1
