kotor633 Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 Hi, @Polychop Simulations Is it planned to update the current SA-342 manual? 1 ************************************** DCS World needs the Panavia Tornado! Really! **************************************
Kinkkujuustovoileipä Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 Hi, yes it is, but we still have a number of future features planned and some already in progress. Unfortunately we don't have the capacity to both implement them and document them at the same time (given we're also doing this for the Kiowa), so once we reach a certain cut off point on the Gazelle we will update the documentation. 1

Well, that's a statement you can live with for now. I hope/wish that it doesn't take too long. A good module also needs a proper manual. And your SA 342 has taken a huge step forward! I really enjoy flying virtually with her. 1 ************************************** DCS World needs the Panavia Tornado! Really! **************************************
kotor633 Posted November 8, 2023 Author Posted November 8, 2023 (edited) @Polychop Simulations But I still have one question/request: Could you at least explain why the Ranging Reference Marks are needed in the Athos Sight? What kind of information do these lines provide? Or is it enough to measure the distance to the target using laser ranging, align the helicopter, place the designation reticle on the target and fire the HOT3? null Edited November 8, 2023 by kotor633 ************************************** DCS World needs the Panavia Tornado! The ranging reference marks are mil lines which should allow you to estimate the range of a target without the use of a laser range finder.
