Mission 2 didn't proceed, and other peculiar happenings

Hello to whom it may concern,

My huey exloded on startup at the FARP on mission 2.  I went into ME, selected the player unit, selected the option to take off from ground, and moved it to another FARP helipad, and just pressed the Green play mission button, in order to partake in the mission experience.  That solved the blow-up on mission start.  2 other things I noticed were that the trucks at the first encounter with the enemy drive over a very steep step.  It's quite comical.

Later on, after the infantry got out of the trucks and attacked, I killed a truck and the AI got the other one. Then the SAS Operator said to land between so he could gather any intel.  When I landed there, nothing happened, I waited about 2 minutes, no indication of any triggers or an proceeding with the mission at all.  The only Mod I am running is a cockpit.lua  on OvGME for my control indicator positions.

Never underestimate the off-road capabilities of Russian drivers, that's the map mate. I'll check why you exploded when you start, obviously, this shouldn't happen unless some object got magically moved at this last update. 

 

It looks like you have landed just fine, I'll test that as well and I'll let you know.

Okay, and no offense.  I won't mind the trucks going down the steep incline anymore.  Just to clarify: its when I spawn after clicking 'FLY' that the unit just explodes.  Okay I'm looking forward to what you find with the triggers. Thanks

No offense, taken, I'll check the pathfinding of those trucks and see if I can make them avoid the steep hill, both trucks should be killed. when you said AI killed them, that's one of your gunners?

Yeah I smoked one with my hydra rockets, and the right side gunner punched the other one full of holes, and it exploded before I got close, so no splash damage on our ship thankfully.

Yeah, probably after the last update the FARP spots got changed. I'm updating the mission right now. How the heck could I have prevented that? Also, I know why the landing didn't trigger, so I'm updating that also. I'll put the update in a place where you can grab it and play it until the official update makes it.

Yeah, I think it's improbable to predict what will get jumbled when there's a patch.  No way to predict the changes right?

Not to that extent, sometimes I get them from the Closed Beta, but it's hard to work on 3 versions.
