DCS 2.9.1.48111 Low FPS and slight stutter looking out sides of cockpit

Hey All,

I don't have the highest performing system but it is good enough, but with the recent patch 2.9.1.48111 I been experiencing lower FPS and slight stutter when looking out the sides of the cockpit.

I ran the Marianas, Apache Test range mission and was getting about 35 FPS. since the last 2 patches is when it started getting bad. With these settings and most maps I was able to hold 60FPS. Marianas is the worst right now but with the reolution I run and using 60Hz setting in my VR Headset which is a Reverb G2 I was able to get the FPS at 60 and it was smooth as butter..

Looking to get a different GPU but not much of a bump as it is only a 2080ti but I just wanted to let ED aware it seems to be getting worse these last 2 patches..

Looking at the thread for reporting VR Bugs it stated to show the following which I have assembled.
What we need:

dxdiag ( enter dxdiag into the search box on the windows taskbar. Select dxdiag from the results. In the tool, select Save All Information for an easily shared format.)

dcs.log

Short as possible track replay where you experience the issue, attach if under size limit or link via a cloud link.

Screenshot of your NVIDIA / AMD control panel settings.
Are you using MT or single core . ST .exe . Test with both .

Lower your shadows and water and no heat , try 512 in cockpit.

You have SSD . Put preload radius all the way to the right .

Check forums for a new file or line about stuttering in VR.

Check VRAM  while testing.

Side to side stuttering means headset pushed to its limits.

Use openxr . Cas . No turbo or frame limit . Test .

Thank you for the responce but I am more or less reporting an issue to ED. my FPS dropped a bit and I have been using the same settings since forever.. the last to patches are where it seemed to have went south.

if you look at my DCS.Log you would see I am using the MT.exe.. I am not looking  for suggestions persay. I am pretty low with my settings as it is and lowering them mostly besides maybe MSAA does mostly nothing..

just filing a report here is all. I can regain the FPS but it dropped near 5-10FPS and I am now getting below my 60FPS/HZ Rate which is bad.. I set my G2 too 60hz as 90hz was just way to high and was worse then it is now.. but since 2 patches ago the performance fell of yet again..

I too have the same issue as the OP. I am running an RTX 3090Ti with the Reverb G2 and have run the same VR settings in DCS for years. I do notice the stats in dcs fps window (CPU Bound Rendering) flashing yellow to red like a very fast strobe when the stuttering occurs. This is happening in all aspects of flight. Even sitting at the mission select role screen. Lowering settings does not work.

Edit:

Just checked the Task Manager Resource Monitor and see that CPU 2 and CPU 7 are pegged at 100%. CPU 6,5 &4 and pegged at 90%. CPU 1 is around 40-50% and CPU 3 is running the lowest around 30-40%. Just an observation on an i7 9700k 64GB Ram machine.

Hey ED, any word on this issue? I was hoping someone to look at these logs and such.. I am also currently noticing major FPS drops also from back seat Apache to Front seat Apache almost 50FPS in 2d Mode? I use VR but the FPS drop overall in game for me is about 10-15FPS in VR from 2.8..
