Upgrade HP Reverb G2 to Varjo Aero - Poll ( worth it despite Vertical FOV ? )

I love my HP Reverb G2 but I don't like the FOV and Colours at all. Clarity is ok for me. That's why I'm looking for an new Headset

I want to switch from my HP Reverb G2 to the Aero, but I'm undecided about the vertical FOV.
There are different opinions on the vertical FOV of the Aero in many different threads.

I would be interested to know how many have switched from the G2 to the Aero and are satisfied.

As a G2 to aero user of 12 months, it's a definite yes. The sweet spot in comparison is huge and allows you to move just your eyes for most instrument scans, but yes the vertical FOV decrease is noticeable, but only at first tbh. Bear in mind, you’ll also need base stations if you don't already have them, so factor that into your costing.

It's worth it. The vertical FOV reduction is soon gotten used to. Everything else is superior. Varjo Foveated Rendering is a game changer (literally).

They will work fine, but the V1 versions also work perfectly
