IJammer Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 Unfortunately I have not been able to get on DCS for some months... so, having some spare time; I updated Win 10, broweser and DCS beta. I have what is now a mediaocre PC... water cooled i7 @ 4.2, multi treaded wotsits, 16gb memo, 6Gb GFX, 2x SSD. 27" monitor and TrackR Pro ect. Anyhow, my complaint is that after doing all the updates... I set forth on a harbour tour in the UH-1 that I had not flown for several months to get back in the saddle so to speak... I kept a healthy distance from the lead ship with no overlapping blades ect., as I sometimes dared! I used to get 40 -50fps before the updates... now I am getting a pretty well nailed 80fps!!! How long has this been going on? Who springled fairy dust all over my PC and DCS? One happy camper who will try harder to get back more often and might even spend some money on some new maps (Vietnam please) Dave -IJammer /B229 (what was virtual 1st Cav Div) 2
