Scoll Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 In this small world of aviation, has no one ever heard of Le Bourget? ...amazing... In other words, I wish(list) to see this aviation historic site on this map. 2 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
71st_AH Rob Posted December 21, 2023 Posted December 21, 2023 No real activity there during the time period the map covers. It would be useful as a transport base if we get a Ju-52(AI) and as a logistics base when we get the dynamic campaign or for multiplayer servers. No fighter or bomber squadrons were stationed there from 1942 to the end of the war.

71st_AH Rob Posted Thursday at 04:21 PM Posted Thursday at 04:21 PM Agreed. On a map with limited resources getting road and rail networks historically accurate is far more important than le moulin rouge. If you are over Paris you know it, moulin rouge is just for site-seeing. Some historical landmarks are needed for navigation, like St. James's Park, as long as it is there it is readily recognizable from the air and Buckingham Palace is redundant, although you might notice it not being there. Although some of the new historically accurate targets like Amiens Prison are greatly appreciated and unique landmarks for navigation like Mont Saint-Michel are vital. Others not so much. Like RAF Hornchurch, vitally important during the Battle of Britain and I would love to see a historically accurate rendition of it on the map but by 1944 it was largely an administrative center and no longer conducting operations. If Ugra had unlimited resources i'd say go for it but with constrained resources I would prefer that they add RAF Woodchurch which was an active ALG for fighter squadrons up until Aug 1944 when the last squadrons were in France and it became just an emergency landing ground for returning aircraft. 2
