Mike_CK Posted December 22, 2023 Posted December 22, 2023 Been flying the Hornet since early 2019 so I REALLY ought to know this…but im getting mixed results. Can’t seem to find a clear answer. I would just go try it except my rig is down…but I’d like to know before I forget to ask again. When dropping a string of bombs in CCIP, I know you put the pipper where you want the 1st bomb in the string to hit (where the string starts). But what about CCRP? If I have it set to release 7 bombs over 7 pulses (so one at a time) with a 30meter spacing on a convoy of 7 vehicles spaced 30 meters apart (thinking 100 ft but we ‘muricans need to get with the metric system). Do I place the target designation box on the first vehicle or would I place it on the 4th vehicle (so 3 vehicles in front and 3 behind)??
rob10 Posted December 22, 2023 Posted December 22, 2023 Should be CENTRE for BOTH CCIP and CCRP, but as of the last patch I've seen reports that that isn't currently the case (haven't tested that myself yet).
Captain Orso Posted December 22, 2023 Posted December 22, 2023 IIRC it depends on how many bombs you are dropping--yeah, I know, you ask A or B and some jerk says C I'd have to look into it again, but I think it was 6 or more or 8 or more bombs dropped meant the CCRP target point was measured in the middle, and < 6 ( or 8 ) meant measured from the first--more used with CCIP. When you hit the wrong button on take-off System Specs.
