JSF_Aggie Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 In VR, I had been using the mouse for cockpit interaction. Recently, I turned this off, and mapped mouse buttons to my HOTAS, and have been using the VR cursor and HOTAS for cockpit interaction. If I keep going this route, am I stuck with the VR cursor always being there (being drawn)? Is there a way to activate/deactivate it? Thanks.

There is a key-bind in the general settings for each module. You can then toggle this on and off. However, I leave mouse on and use joytokey to map buttons to centre the mouse cursor and offset low right and low left. This allows me to use head tracking for most of my cockpit interactions and then mouse for the less used/harder to reach buttons. Yeah, I’ve had a hard time reaching some of the side panel switches in the Hornet.

XRnecksafer helps with that too.
