Kneeboard Greyed out when looking down at my pilots leg

Hi, it didn't used to be this way, but my kneeboard is greyed out. I can open up the docs still, but my knee board does not show the last doc I was looking at anymore. For example, ILS, TACAN, Channel,  etc of the super carrier. I used to be able to look down and see that on my leg now it is just grey. Any thoughts on how to fix that or its just this just the way it is now?
