Tpod/ Tv Not able to ripple

I wanted to use either the tpod or the tv to send out a ripple of unguided bombs. I can't get the bombs to drop using the tv or tpod using the same settings bar Hud designate target and tv/tpod designate target. Can anyone tell me what's going on please is it a bug or a feature?

I don't have access Harrier manual but a workaround is the designate the target with the TPOD (it has to say TPOD DES) and then double press sensor select button to return the the previously selected sensor - INS, MAP or TV. You should be able to drop a ripple of unguided bombs on the the last TPOD designation using this method.
