Super weird scenario

Tomcat 1, Hornet 1, Hornet 2, flying in formation.

 

Tomcat 1 could transmit and receive Hornet 1.

 

Hornet 1 could transmit and receive Hornet 2.

 

Tomcat 1 could NOT transmit and receive Hornet 2.

 

Hornet 1 could transmit and receive everyone, Tomcat 1 and Hornet 2 couldn't.

 

Weird thing was, Tomcat 1 and Hornet 2 could see each other keying up, and hear the mic click, but no voice was heard.
