Mixture Control Position Run/AL?

I'm a bit confused about the last row in the table from manual p30:

I can't find anything relevant about that AL combination. Originally I thought it was some other switch (AR/AL) as there is no other reasonable position on the 3-way lever itself. Then I assumed that AR is "auto rich"... which would lead to a typo explanation?

AL refers to Auto Lean, a mixture position the DCS Mustang does not have.

Ah... so the table is for the engine (the section is), with some stuff not specific for the plane? Is that right?

I imagine whoever produced that for the DCS manual was copying a chart from a real world document that covered several versions of the D model and didn’t realize the Auto Rich/Auto Lean stuff weren’t relevant to the DCS module.

@virgo47 On top of that, all this values like power, crit alt , fuel flow are for v-1650-3 engine and engine simulated in DCS P-51 is V-1650-7.

V-1650-7 61/3000rpm S.L outputs 1590hp and war emergency is 1700hp but at lower alt. High blower alt with ram air for military power is around 26k ft. -3 can hold 61 inch well above 30k which is totally impossible for -7

Thank you, guys, for the info. It's easy to get it all confused, but in the end, anything under 46"/2700 RPM should work "indefinitely" (numbers used in many posts here and in both tables, on p30 and p128) and cruising at 42"/2400 (manual p128) should be perfectly safe.
