Pico 4 - Virtual Desktop - Freeze

Hi everyone. I am a Pico 4 owner and I have a problem with DCS. Basically, when I use it via Virtual Desktop, after a couple of minutes the game goes into "freeze", while, on the PC monitor, I see that DCS continues to run perfectly. I tried everything, even re-installing the drivers with DDU and formatting the PC. What can I do? Thank you!

RTX 3060 Ti

I was having this issue also.

If you haven't already, try setting "Textures" to Medium and "Terrain Textures" to Low and see if that helps.

A 3060ti is quite weak for a Pico 4. It's like driving two 4k monitors. If you use medium or high in VD and tone down your DCS settings does it help?

I use , at moment,

 

DCS Setting:

Texture: High

Terrain Texture: Low

VD Setting:

ULTRA

H264+

Bitrate: 100 MB

Spacewarp: Automatic.

Have you followed all the advice for VD with a dedicated WiFi 6 router connected to your pc by a 1000mbps ethernet cable. What does your connection speed show as on the VD overlay? It might be worth a screen shot.

I have ISP Router 5G WiFi . Unfortunately my Internet provider can't use another router. The Speed on Overlay Is 866Mhz.

 

How can i solve them to use a router with WiFi 6?

Is your router close to your headset and do you have an ethernet connection from your router to your pc? 866 Mbps is the minimum but VD advises that you have a dedicated router with direct connection to your pc.

Try setting Textures to medium and in VD put graphics also to medium.

See if that helps. If no freezing then you can incrementally work back up

I try texture to medium in dcs and i play for 2 hour without problem. I try again today and i tell you. Thank's to all
