  1. Sorry yeah my post was poorly worded. If you designate a point on the ground with the ATFLIR and then move the FLIR around with the TDC the diamond will move on the HUD so you can more easily correlate what you’re looking at through the HUD with what you’re seeing in the FLIR. With the LITENING it seems like when you designate a target the diamond is fixed, even if you move the FLIR view around.
  2. I like the ATFLIR better but only because I can get the diamond that shows where the TGP is looking to show on the HUD - I can’t seem to do that with Litening. Is it possible? I’m quite probably doing it wrong!
  3. Agreed. I have no interest in who is right or wrong, what happened behind the scenes, etc. etc. I just want someone (whether that is RAZBAM or ED) to say that the customers are not going to be left in the lurch and that work on bug fixing and feature development is now resuming (not "will resume at some unspecified time in the future").
  4. This post couldn't have been worded more perfectly. Let me start by saying that I'm very grateful for DCS, I love what ED and its 3rd party partners have produced. I own a great number of modules and maps and regularly struggle to choose to fly the F16, the F18 or the F15E because I love them all. But, I'm also not someone who enjoys being taken advantage of. I'm a 'proud' owner of the SuperCarrier module and I'm disappointed that the features that were road mapped for this module haven't eventuated. Also pretty miffed about the F15E saga but that's not a story for here. I like what is proposed above and I think it would alleviate some of the annoyance I (and I'm sure others) feel about features that are promised or road mapped, and then either never eventuate or take years upon years. Especially when they're core features like what is being proposed for the Chinook.
  5. Have a hunt around on YouTube, there are guides on how to make VD work with a wired connection (from memory using an Ethernet cable and usb-c to Ethernet adapter).
  6. No pre-order for me. Pre-ordered F15E. Frequent delays. Pre-ordered F4E. More delays. Now F15E hanging under a cloud. Have ‘lost that trusting feeling’. And I get a feeling that borders on disdain from ED towards people with this sentiment on these forums, as if we are the problem. Gaslit. So yeah. Hard pass for now until things get better.
  7. Yes also thankful, am looking forward to the MiG-29. Would love if they can add the AGM-88 and maybe pre-programmed JDAMs now that they seem to have been retrofitted in Ukraine!
  8. You missed my point entirely.
  9. No mate, that will not do. That's a completely different game.... Attached is the DCS Early Access warning. This doesn't suggest to the purchaser that development will just cease. What is DCS World Early Access? Early Access is an option for you to play this module in an early state, but it will be incomplete with bugs. The time a product remains in Early Access can vary widely based on the scope of the project, technical hurdles, and how complete the module is when it enters Early Access. Eagle Dynamics and all of our third parties strive to make this period as short as possible. Once the module exits Early Access, you will automatically have the Release version. How many of those games did people pay upwards of $50 for?
  10. Example please? Just one will do. Any one statement by an official third party developer (ie not a mod) that states that “development can stop at any time and what you have is what you get.” edit: I’m talking about Early Access.
  11. Does the first post need a bit of an update? What does the team look like now?
  12. I saw that post. The problem is, any threads querying (frankly, legitimately) the status are locked. I'm sorry to say because I'm a big DCS fan but I think it's poor form that there was a public meltdown between RAZBAM and ED a week or 2 ago and there's been radio silence since. We as consumers couldn't care less about the reasons for the spat, but what we do care about is when we are going to receive some updates to the products we've purchased. Yes, we bought these in Early Access but we did so in good faith - we gave our money before a finalised product was released on the understanding that we consumers would identify bugs and those bugs would be updated as time goes on. Not to speak for others but for me personally, this type of situation really puts me off putting cash into future EA releases.
  13. Would like to know also. Will the F15E be receiving bug fixes in the next patch?
