I found this in the forum "Dynamic Foveated Rendering - Everything in one page" and I will try to read it

and I found also this from you in another discussion "As VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants has said, try using QVFR in fixed mode.

Set centre size to about 0.5x0.5 with 1.1-1.3 modifier and 0.4 peripheral resolution. Then set MSAA to x2.

I use these settings on P4 with FFR and it gives me a nice balance of quality and performance. With DFR you can get away with an even smaller centre region so better performance again."

So I will try this settings.

The thing that cunfuses me is about DLAA, DLSS and MSAA with the upscaling that you suggested. So if I will have the resolutione of about 3200 (it should be around 1.5 times the regular resolution of quest 3) should I see the cockpit really well even if I put DLAA or DLSS (on quality)? and DLAA drops fps o help with fps?

another thing, since that I have just the f16 and I can't compare with other cockpit, are there differences in these settings? I mean if everything works perfect for you (with a rtx4070) in the f18 can be different for me in the f16 with the 4080?

I hope it makes sense

thanks againg, few months ago I thought I was ok with fps and VR but apparently I am not ahahahahahah I get this things of shimmering around, clouds, building that is annoyng

I use these settings when I use MSAA and it works pretty well.

That can be several things. Some instant action scenarios are still set with the old clouds. Updating to the newer weather helps. Setting clouds to "ultra" can help too. I also find that MSAA makes the clouds look more shimmery.

My current DLSS settings use manually installed DLSS 3.7.10 with DLSStweaks to change the preset to F and alter the scaling. I have scaling at 0.9 so it is indistinguishable from DLAA but better fps. You can get away with dropping it to .7 without much noticable difference in quality.

I find that DLSS or DLAA are best for antialiasing. MSAA is really jaggy at times. But is sharper than DLSS. I switch between MSAA and DLSS depending on what mission I am playing.

Hi, I just want to thank you. I tried all the things that you suggested, DLSS with preset F and 0.9, quadview and all the things connected and the game is completed different! it is just WOW. VR is tricky but thanks to all of you guys I have discovered so many things. many thanks.
