CTD when VR enabled, after installing DCS 2.9.3 and updating NVidia

I'm getting a CTD every time I start DCS with VR enabled since updating the game to 2.9.3.51704. I have also updated NVidia drivers to 551.61 since I last ran DCS. This happens even when the VR headset is not connected.

I have done the cleanup & repair, so I have vanilla options apart from the checked VR enabled box. No unofficial mods should be there. I have not yet tried a full reinstall. When I uncheck the VR option, the game runs just fine even with my previous options.

There is no crash dump and also the log file just abrubtly ends without any meaningful errors, and very early compared to successful starts.

The CTD happens both with multi-threaded and default binaries.

I have an RTX3070 and a Quest 2, but as said the crash happens even without Oculus running, when the VR option is selected. I have never before had any issues when starting with VR enabled.

Windows is Win11 Pro (version 23H2), Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631

I have run the previous version of DCS with this update installed.

I think you have the PTC option enabled in Oculus - this has been stopping all Meta headsets at the same point in the log. Disable PTC and you should be good to go
